Upward Sports
The purpose of our sports ministry is to provide a fun, safe place for kids to learn sports fundamentals and build their faith. We want to provide a positive environment in which we can use sports as a tool to minister God’s word to both adults and children.
Children PreK-3 through 5th grade for soccer and Pre-K4 through 6th grade for basketball can participate in our Upward league.

Upward Basketball
Upward Basketball is open to kids ages K4 through 6th Grade!
Come to the court for some quality youth basketball focused on teaching basketball fundamentals, strengthening character and having fun! Kids K4 through 6th grade can register for this coed league, all skill levels welcome. The season is 10 weeks long and includes 8 scheduled games.
Early registration - $120 Sept 4- November 3 ($130 - Late Registration November 4 until closing November 18)
$10 discount on siblings.
All players must attend one evaluation day held Saturday 11/9 and 11/16 9am-12noon. Evaluations are come and go and should only take about 15 minutes.
Practices will start the week of December 2nd and will last about 1 hour. Practices are held 1 day a week either Monday or Tuesday depending on your teams schedule. Practice times will be announced once registration closes and teams are created.
Games will start the week of January 4 and continue for 8 weeks, with the last game and awards on February 22. All games and practices take place in the First Baptist Church Farmersville Gymnasium at 124 S. Washington St.
